|Features of Hanshin Racecourse|
Hanshin Racecourse is a state of the art facility that offers Horse
Racing and something extra for fans, children or anyone young at heart.
They feature many of the things that Western Hemisphere tracks are
lacking such as
Sky Park located east of the grandstand, includes a stage where character shows and other entertainment events are held on race days.
Play areas for children including the forest train, which is a large size toy train which you can ride. They also offer pony rides for kids. There is also an area known as the "Lucky Shoe Spot", here you can see hoof prints of famous racehorses that have run here. You can even step where past champions have.
A famous feature of the Racecourse is the large roof that covers both the parade ring and the grand stand. This special feature allows spectators to remain dry and comfortable even in the worst weather.
The park extending to the east of the stands includes a fountain, flower borders and a green terrarium.
The parade ring is large, spacious and beautiful. It is shaped like a theater so you are sure to get a great look at the horses before the race.
